About Hugo & Mike

Since I was young I’ve always loved dogs — both learning about and taking care of them. I have helped my family raise many dogs in my life (shout out to Jasmine, Emma, Allie, Jax & Buddy) but Hugo is the first puppy that I have had the privilege of being the principal caregiver. During this journey, it's been quite eye-opening in just how much work it takes to raise a cute little puppy into a healthy, happy, and generally well-behaved dog.

Trying to balance a full-time job, family functions, and social life while raising your dog can be challenging to say the least. Trying to find someone capable & trustworthy enough to help raise that dog is almost as difficult.....

Hugo is my chihuahua/corgi/chow-chow/shepherd I adopted from Austin, Texas. Hugo is so polite & laid back, is such a quick learner, and has so much empathy towards humans and other animals.....

I'm Mike & I have over 20 years of in the customer service industry and I am taking all that knowledge combined with the ongoing skills I'm continually acquiring in dog training, dog walking, and leash skills to help me in growing my small business.

I finished my certificate in Professional Dog Walking in 2015 and currently studying the most current science-based R+ positive reinforcement training techniques. I have also completed my pet first aid through Dog Safe. I now have the opportunity to share my love of dogs with our clients and pet owners all over the lower mainland.

I take pride in the high standard of professional care in the services that I provide and I want customers who also expect that higher standard of pet care. I look forward to meeting you & your precious pet very soon!
